CFO says MTS may pay 5.1 bln rbl in Jan–Jun dividends

MOSCOW, Jun 28 (PRIME) -- Major Russian mobile operator MTS may spend about 5.1 billion rubles on interim dividends for January–June, Andrei Kamensky, vice president for finance, investment and M&A, said on Thursday at an annual general meeting of shareholders.

“The total amount of dividends paid in 2018 will exceed 50 billion rubles (including payments for 2017),” Kamensky said.

MTS’ shareholders are offered to approve dividends for 2017 at 46.762 billion rubles, or 23.4 rubles per common share and 46.8 rubles per American depositary receipt.

Multi-industry holding Sistema owns 47.21% of MTS’ capital, and 47.20% are in free float.
